Our Government of Canada client is looking for a Technology Architect (Level 2) to develop technical architectures, frameworks, and strategies for managing the desktop baseline configuration, managing nationally advertised Commercial off the shelf (COTS) applications, and packaging and distributing Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and other nationally advertised applications.
Start Date: ASAP
Security Clearance: Secret
Work Location: Onsite (Ottawa, ON)
Role Requirements:
- More than 5 years of experience technical architectures, frameworks and strategies, either for an organization or for a major application area, to meet the business and application requirements;
- 2 years of experience in the last 5 years with SCCM and/or MECM;
- 5 years of experience in the last 10 years writing technical documents such as build documents, standard operating procedures, concept of operations, briefing notes, test plans and test reports;
- 3 years of experience in the last 5 years using an Enterprise Information Technology Service Management System (such as Assyst, Remedy, Support Magic) for tracking items such as tasks, incidents, problems, changes etc.; and
- Experience with Active Directory (GPOs), application rationalization, and evaluating alternative technology solutions (hardware and software) is an asset.
